I Heart TV on the Radio

Went to see TV on the Radio at the Henry Fonda Theater on Friday night. Needless to say, it was awesome. Surprisingly, it’s the first time they’ve headlined in Los Angeles. I remember they were at the Hollywood Bowl opening for Massive Attack sometime back, which was frustrating if you wanted TVOTR to be the main event. The place was packed, but comfortable for the early-thirties set I was with; we sat up in the front row of the balcony which didn’t feel too far away, plus I could actually see, something that doesn’t always happen at 5′4″. Tip: if you get two drinks at the Blue Palms, the restaurant/bar connected to the venue, you get a VIP wristband and access to the balcony and upstairs bar outside. Eventually, I ventured downstairs to get some closer pics and it was well-worth the weaseling forth - I ended up staying down there until the end of the concert.

This T-shirt was also worth the $20. It’s a good quality American Apparel shirt that runs a smidge small. Luckily, I got a medium, but even so, I won’t put it in the dryer. You can also get it here.
