BLACKBURN AND SWEETZER

Brooklyn-based Hayden-Harnett, one of my favorite purveyors of handbags, made this limited edition canvas eco-tote in homage of Al and An Inconvenient Truth. I bought one a couple months ago when it first came out. It’s the perfect, sturdy bag for me to throw my laptop in, along with all my necessary accoutrements - headphones, gloss, wallet, a book - to go write. At $55, it’s about the best deal you can get from H-H, while patting yourself on the back, since $25 of each sale goes to Stop Global Warming and $10 to American Forests to plant trees. I just checked and you, too, can be a friend of Al, while there’s still stock. This doesn’t mean you can call the guy up for dinner, but if you ever see him, it would be a surefire opener.
