BLACKBURN AND SWEETZER

I’m not a dog person. I like dogs, but I have two cats - Newman and The Grizz - so my heart’s with the kitties. That’s why when I walked into D.O.G (dee-oh-gee) Pet Boutique on La Cienega, just north of Beverly Boulevard, I was pleased to find adorable collars, tags, bowls, and an incredibly awesome bentwood bed (pictured above in the window) that would work for my guys. Just opened a few weeks ago, D.O.G has everything from pillows and Louis Vuitton-esque carries, to goodies in its ‘barkery’ and doggie couture from across the globe. I’ll return just to visit owners’ Chris and Christian’s pint-sized rescues, Bailey and Casey; I instantly fell for Casey (shown left with Christian), the perfect model for the boutique’s bitty collars. Look for D.O.G’s online store, which goes live in three weeks.
