Our cats - Newm and The Grizz - are way into our apartment and hanging within about 20 feet of the front door, but that’s about it. They’re not so much into going places. When we do take them to vet, it’s a meow fest, and not in a cute way. Newm, our crazy, not particularly intelligent cat, makes incessant noise in these moments, despite our seriously, dude, be quiet pleas. The Grizz is much more efficient and effective in such situations with his intermittent and incredibly pathetic cries that would make you think we were abusing the little guy. Our pet carrier is functional and probably cost less than $30, which seems reasonable, but I have to give it up to Cheengoo Boutique’s Sleepypod, a dual bed and pet carrier. When not in transit, zip off the adjustable top and it’s a bed with a cushy faux fur interior. The basic Sleepypod is $119, or get it tricked out with a warming pad ($33), car adapter ($16.50), extra bedding ($27.50), or the whole shebang for $196. Colors blue, white, red, and brown, in addition to the currently available black, will be in-stock in May. Now, for some gratuitous cat pics…
