Want them, can’t afford them. But I’m glad they exist. Alice Roi is not f*cking around with her high-waisted, double-belted shorts. I want to slip into them and jump into a ’40s novel. People’s perspective is all off - a remnant from the super-low-rise days - and think a 9-inch rise is high-waisted. Thirteen inches, baby, that’s high-rise. Why I’m on board? High-waisted pants, jeans, skirts, and shorts are flattering on an hourglass shape and give the illusion of curves on a more boyish shape. I don’t have $375 to spare on shorts, but if you do, get them online at Active Endeavors.
