OK, so it’s impossible to ignore the ridiculousness of the headshot - seriously, dude, lose it and all will be fine with the world - but if you can get past it, you’ll see that this guy is going to be at our neigborhood Swerve Studio at 3rd and Sweetzer this Sunday, April 29th to teach a VinyasaBrasil class from 12:30PM-1:30PM. It’s a mix of capoeira and yoga and will probably kick your ass. At some point, I had a chance for a comped class via some sort of editorial opportunity and didn’t take it, for who knows what reason. But $16 doesn’t seem like a bad price for bragging rights to having done some capoiera, even a yoga-fied version.

Do you like Swerve? I tried a class there once years ago and got a funny guys aren’t appreciated vibe.
I loved going to Devine motion on Beverly at Orlando but they got evicted for a gallery.
I am not a fan of Ivengyar and wonder if there is someother hidden mellow yoga place that is pedestrian acessible for our neighborhood.
Do you have any ideas?

You know, that’s a good question. Yoga in this area (in walking distance) is something I really have to research. I got spoiled while in grad school in Arizona - unlimited ashtanga for $50 per month! The instructor was incredible, the space was a gorgeous Frank Lloyd Wright building, it was never too crowded.
