BLACKBURN AND SWEETZER

The sign has gone up for Jian Korean BBQ at the southeast corner of Beverly and Sweetzer, an update from my earlier post. Eater LA gives the lowdown thus far here. We’ll see if the corner restaurant has some longevity, as the space has had many incarnations in the past couple years: first Em Bistro, then Solare, then Corky’s Jazz Lounge. I hope it’s tasty and well-priced; the ‘hood could really use another mid-range restaurant, and this one is so close I’ll probably be able to smell the waft of ribs in the air.
