BLACKBURN AND SWEETZER

Smitten? More like obsessed. Of late, I can’t get enough of painter and drawer Stella Im Hultberg, whose background is in industrial and toy design and creates these amazingly gorgeous women. Each captures a vulnerability, control, and mystery - you get the feeling there is so much going on in the lives and eyes of these women. Hultberg, along with Audrey Kawasaki, KuKula, Brandi Milne, and Amy Sol, will be part of the ‘Smitten’ show at Thinkspace Gallery on Santa Monica Boulevard, right around Sunset Junction. The opening reception is Friday, May 11th from 7:00PM-11:00PM; the show continues through June 1st. See some of Hultberg’s work below.
