Event: Cynthia Wolff Jewels at Broken English

May 11th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Broken English is a great new jewelry store at the Brentwood Country Mart, helmed by Kaviar and Kind alum Laura Freedman. Her first event, a Mother’s Day trunk show featuring designer Cynthia Wolff, starts today, Friday, May 11th and runs through Sunday, May 13th. Note personal appearances are Friday and Saturday 11:00AM-5:00PM. Broken English prices range from $120 all the way up to $41,000. Freedman is a gem herself (while I was in the shop, she offered to help customers restore pieces, or work to create something new for orphaned precious stones) and has excellent taste, including selections from Cynthia Desser, Tito Pedrini, Pamela Froman, and Lizzie Scheck. Daily Candy, in fact, profiled the jewelry shop today.

Any suggestion in vintage or thrift furniture stores in this area? I’m looking for a gorgeous chair like the one below….. I love furniture!
