Saturday Night at Happi Songs

May 21st, 2007 · No Comments

Got over to Happi Songs Asian Tavern at La Brea and 6th - the latest from Steve Arroyo of Malo, Cobras & Matadors, and 750 ml fame - for a late-night dinner on Saturday. The husband got pork yakisoba (top dish pictured). I got noodles with beef and spinach (bottom dish pictured). We shared the scallops - two jumbo size scallops on a skewer. The food came quickly and was pretty tasty and cheap. Our bill was only $28; they didn’t charge us for two Boddingtons, which may have been a mistake or maybe a lure to get us to come back. All in all, a good experience. We were relieved that it wasn’t nearly as loud as we anticipated from the outside.
