I HEART NAILS: New Ownership, New Tony Sign

May 22nd, 2007 · No Comments

I admit it - all it took was a new shiny sign to get me to forgo my usual trip to Lanny Nails on Beverly Boulevard and try out I HEART NAILS on 3rd, between Crescent Heights and Fairfax. Frankly, I couldn’t remember what was there before, but it has been a nail salon for more than a decade. What’s new is the ownership and the new inviting signage. I got a $20 pedicure, which was applied meticulously while I sat in one of those automatic massager chairs. The massager wasn’t so great and kind of stressed me out, in fact. I wasn’t a fan of the whoopee cushion sound the contraption made at the end either. But the pedicure was good, the people nice, and they gave me this ‘grand opening’ mug below I’m sipping from at this moment. Lanny Nails still holds my heart though with its efficiency, $12-pedicure, and friendly staff.
