This is what happens when I clean off my desk: I find lookbooks from designers or PR people that I should’ve looked at days, perhaps weeks, ago. I just came across Float Designs, a new line from designer Ramona Senese, a Parsons grad. My faves are - big surprise - the two most expensive items, the silk cotton Maritime Tunic ($120) and canvas Coastal Carry All ($130), both in her signature Napali print. I dig the Pucci-esque vibe of the print, which also shows up on a Boating Neck Tunic ($50) and a hooded Coastal Cover Up ($50), each in micro modal. Terry hoodies ($76) and pullovers ($44) come in solids for an altogether cheery, well-priced line. If you want to see what Daily Candy has to say on the subject - that is, Float, not my paper-piled desk, click here.
