Oh god, another how to wrangle a man book, this one by Cindy Lu called The Four Man Plan, very depressing. I wouldn’t be mentioning it at all if there weren’t an event in the ‘hood, at Sugar on La Brea, involving the how-to: signed copies will be given out with every purchase for the night - that’s Saturday, June 2nd from 6:00PM to whenever people stop spending money. Makeup artist and eyebrowist Judy Haft will be present to tell you how to take care of those caterpillars hanging out above your eyes and other tips. You can also enter to win a free dress, and, most enticingly to me, Sugar always has cupcakes. Whether or not the cupcake trend is subsiding, cupcakes are always, always delicious.
