Don’t know what Doughboys did or didn’t do, but whatever the violation(s) it must’ve been pretty bad to get shut down until said violations are rectified. Now that the cafe is being ‘renovated’, it would be great if the owners took care of the awful wet rag smell, which gives the place an ambiance akin to a high school gym. I doubt the upgrades will entail getting rid of the mega-portions that no human being should ever eat in one sitting. No one needs a vat of soup for lunch.

Doughboys got a roach / bathroom access problem where the health department had to close them down

I can’t stand DoughBoys’ I don’t understand what the fuss is with all the hipster youth with that place. It’s probably the worst food on 3rd. The soup is so bland and way to much of it. The only thing worth eating there is the french dip sandwich and even that’s not worth eating.

nooooooooo!! i bet it had something to do with the bathroom being in the kitchen. always thought that was a bit unsanitary but looked past it for the doughboys salad.

Addiction if you want a great salad for lunch go to quality. The sea food salad is amazing.
