Right now, the Beverly Center is a pain in the ass, what with the escalator situation on La Cienega - i.e., no escalator except entering on Beverly. That being said, I am always pleasantly surprised by how much I like Club Monaco and I’ve found some fantastic sale items (a cream cropped jacket with puff sleeves, a LBD with box pleats). The CM sale starts this weekend, up to 60% off, which I think is enough reason to hoof it up six flights of stairs, since waiting for the elevator is even more annoying, and I have a block about the escalator on Beverly as if it doesn’t exist.

You could also check out the Club Monaco on the NW corner of Beverly Dr and Brighton in BH; there’s a 1-hour-free lot not too far south on Beverly, across from Jack ‘n’ Jill’s.
