Another one, same night. The Merry Karnowsky Gallery on La Brea, a block and half north of 3rd, is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with and an exhibition, ‘Decade’, and a reception June 30th from 8:00PM-11:00PM. One of the first galleries devoted exclusively to Pop Surrealism and Lowbrow Art in the U.S., the gallery and its artists have been featured everywhere from Giant Robot and Swindle to the NYT and Wall Street Journal. If you can’t make the reception, there’s a month to feel like a Pop Surrealist arty-smarty-pants - the exhibition runs through July 28th.
