For fall, I got a deep purple Hand Maid by Michelle Frantz handbag with gold hardware that people routinely went nuts over. The saturated hue is surprisingly versatile like a neutral. I only switched bags because I got an itch to feel summery. Now, I’m hooked on the color. These patent leather open-two booties from Moschino Cheap & Chic ($460) are pretty killer with the ribbon laces and retro vibe. The four-inch slim heel keeps it modern and in the wear-only-for-a-few-hours category - at least for me.
