Reader Anonymous left an intriguing comment about not-yet-opened Recess nail salon on Beverly Boulevard, south side of the street, just west of Orlando:
I just went to their Live Earth party on Saturday afternoon and am really impressed. They are using all organic lotions and the entire spa is made from recycled materials and stuff! I’ve never seen a nail salon that looks like this.
Come to find out Recess if very serious about its green streak. The salon is going for a LEED rating, which is no small endeavor, and is utilizing eco-friendly appliances, products, and towels. Get the full scoop at the salon’s site, here. No exact date announced, but it’s supposed to open sometime in August. Will be curious what these reasonable treatment prices turn out to be.
