Food Court L.A. Moving In

July 30th, 2007 · 4 Comments

Food Court L.A., which, according to its website is ‘a casual eatery with full bar and menu featuring comfort foods with a pan-ethnic twist in a great location on the 3rd Street restaurant strip’, is moving into the spot previously held by Masquers Cabaret at 8334. I’m definitely down with the idea of having a casual and, hopefully, relatively reasonable new spot on 3rd. Looking forward to eating and drinking with you Food Court L.A. Though, I have to say, the name does make me think of the mall.

What a terrible name for a restaurant! I mean REALLY! Toast /Doughboys / Quality = Good names. Food Court L.A.? Huh??? Boy, that’s catchy! And where the heck is everyone going to park for Food Court L.A.? There’s already no parking on that street because of Joan’s and Toast — the city really needs to build some free parking garages like they have in Santa Monica & West Hollywood.
