BLACKBURN AND SWEETZER

The husband, cub reporter for BLACKBURN AND SWEETZER, took these pics of the CB Lofts going up at Orange Grove Avenue and Romaine Street, which is just east of Fairfax and just south of Santa Monica. The structure does kind of spring out of nowhere in this area, a typical L.A. mix of shabby apartments with a sprinkling of buildings that are in better shape. The location is pretty good, with Whole Foods super close and more and more stuff coming up on that stretch of Santa Monica. The walk score is 86, which may be higher than B + S but, let’s be honest, the area doesn’t compare. Couldn’t dig up any dish on the property at this point.
