… to be its Myspace friend. Yep, the Los Angeles Galaxy knows an opportunity when its sees it and the team is going to milk this Beckham thing for absolutely everything it’s worth. And you gotta have a Myspace presence. I don’t even watch soccer, but what the heck? Why not? AEG Marketing sent me a very nice invitation from one very nice Strategic Marketing Intern, so it’s official: me and the L.A. Galaxy are Myspace friends, all very cozy.

Actually, there is something tangible to be gained by becoming the team’s Myspace confidante - prizes. Right now you can win a seat next to Beckham on the sidelines and a $1,000 Game Day Check. Cool, as long as Vicky is nowhere in sight, I think I could hang. Although, she’s got to be entertaining in more of a (literally) scary (versus posh) Spice kind of way.
