Cookies are my downfall. But what maniac doesn’t love cookies? Although, my guess is that there are way more maniacs who love cookies than those that don’t, but why am I talking about maniac-loving-cookie-monsters anyway? The point is there’s a No Cookie Left Behind Bake Sale Saturday, August 18th from noon-4:00PM near Scoops Ice Cream Shop (712 North Heliotrope). Proceeds benefit Share Our Strength, which fights hunger in the U.S. Eat goodies so others can eat nutritiously? OK, that sounds like justification to eat yummy, sugary stuff to me.
