Here’s a pic I took recently of the apartments/condos/whatevers going up on Sweetzer just north of 3rd Street. Looks like the builders are continuing with the faux Mediterranean vibe. I just don’t understand erecting more residential buildings that you know from the start aren’t going to age well. And they’ll probably be really expensive too.

I totally agree with you. I’m so sick of the faux Mediterranean villa design. My friend was recently visiting from London and asked me, “Why is LA trying to look like Las Vegas?” And he didn’t mean it as a compliment.
