BLACKBURN AND SWEETZER

Eater L.A. tipped me off on this one. Food Court L.A., which I posted about earlier, supposedly has opened per an Eater L.A. reader. But then the husband went by around 8:30PM Monday night and it was not opened. There was a menu in the window with the date September 26th, 2007 on it. He reports that no entrees were listed over $16, including options like fried chicken, fish and chips, spaghetti and meatballs, and burgers. Coppola wine was set up on the tables, so the spot looks like it has its liquor license. I tried to call the restaurant but the number says it’s not taking calls at this time. Would be fantastic to have a good and reasonable addition to the hood. Will have to go and check it out. Eater L.A. also says that Joan’s On Third is a couple weeks away from opening its expansion.
