Social Atelier is not your average line of cutesy, clever, snarky statement tees. No, this label is actually about saying something about the state of the world - its politics, its atrocities, its biases. It uses 100% certified organic cotton and much of the proceeds go toward its collection of causes. Though I often don’t like the commodification of causes, this one seems particularly smart and well executed. This Friday, August 31st, from 7:00PM-9:00PM, Social Atelier and American Rag are teaming up for a trunk show which benefits efforts in Darfur.
