Another green line, you say? Yes, but this new Zooey by Alice Heller line of tees for men and women is significant because designer Alice Heller is making a commitment to transitioning her entire contemporary cotton line to eco-minded practices - using 100% organic cotton, low-impact dyes, sustainable shipping methods, etc. In this way, the new collection does not feel like lip-service but a real effort to change in a personal and professional way, and getting the message out in the process. Plus, I do really like the tees, all well-designed and in pretty, earthy hues. Get them at Zooey by Alice Heller’s online shop for $82, of which $2 goes to Healthy Child Healthy World.

I got a sunshine (yellow for those not in the know) Peace Sign tee and I swear I get stopped almost hourly by both men and women to ask me where I got the shirt. It fits great and the fact that it helps make me a little “greener” (and hotter if I do say so myself) doesn’t hurt! I got mine at Nordstrom in Seattle.
