Friday, September 21st, Santa Monica is set to get a dose of SJP (Bitten), Amanda Bynes (Dear), and Stephon Marbury (Starbury) with the opening of fashion fashion chain Steve & Barry’s at 103 Santa Monica Place. I have to say, the merch is very reasonably priced, but it’s also not the greatest quality. I bought a Bitten dress and bermudas and had to sew up the seams on both. That being said, I’ve heard very good things about the quality of the Starbury sneakers, which is huge to have a pair of $20 kicks you’re not embarrassed about when you’re a kid. The reality is, in the world of playgrounds, no-name basketball shoes will just never do.
