BLACKBURN AND SWEETZER

Don’t look at me like that. I never said I was immune to lusting after some outrageously expensive bag that all the celebs are carrying. Here are the stats: Jimmy Choo Carolina Eel and Watersnake Bag ($1,675, jimmychoo.com); carriers include the usual suspects - Rachel Bilson, Madonna, Eva Mendes, Naomi Watts, Demi, Charlize, Lindsay, an Olsen, and, who I’m most excited about, Rashida Jones, because I just like her. I actually bought an eel skin bag for like $20, in excellent condition, from vintage boutique Shabon on Beverly Boulevard. No gold hardware and a bit rounder, but darn similar and less than the tax on the Choo. Ah, but I won’t lie, I would like this bag. In this case, the ’80’s glam is pretty irresistible - or make that pretty and irresistible.
