Well, I’m psyched to have the sidewalk back on the west side of the street on Sweetzer, just north of 3rd, but can’t say I’m so impressed with the new apartments which line the street. The stats are below - 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, plus a whole lot of touting going on. It’s elegant! It’s spacious! It’s European! It’s pre-wired for Internet for chrissakes! What it doesn’t tell you and what the model apartment will is that they are 1,700-1,800 square-feet (some two-story), with an almost-OK-sized master bedroom and two very small other bedrooms (all carpeted which sucks), and they’re going for $3,800-$4,200 a month!!! Pass on the generic hotel room atmosphere for way too much money, I say…

Geez that’s not cheap. Can’t you rent house in this area for that much? If not then I am guessing that my mortgage is getting to be a better deal all the time.
Is that a ghost in the living room? I wonder : )
