OK, this is it people, you’re probably sick of London photos, but I figure you can always skip them if you’re done. These are two bathroom extremes: on the left, the ‘XLERATOR’ which sounds like you’re on a landing strip but really does the job, leaving hands dry and warm in lightning speed; on the right, the low-flow toilet - the big circle you push for, ahem, more serious matters, the small for the everything else - which might be better for the environment, but just doesn’t work particularly well.

St. John Bar & Restaurant serves up pricey and very British fare. They clearly forgot about our order or lost it - we were waiting about an hour and a half to get our main course, which definitely kind of soured our experience, but it was good.

Some good wine we had prior to St. John, but was particularly good so thought I’d share; we ate at The Court pub for a quintessential English breakfast the day we left

Mine was really good - egg, buttery mushroom, sausage, bacon, wheat toast and beans; my cohort had eggs and toast
