I guess they’re really trying to move those Sweetzer apartments I posted about previously, or maybe that’s the problem, they’re not moving…. This is the big sign on Beverly Boulevard, close to Jian Korean BBQ, in fact.

    no wonder at those prices. It’s such a shame because I believe the 1940’s or whatever apartments that were there will probably filled with people that loved living there.

    They also don’t tell you that those big buildings are considered new construction and are not covered by rent control. It is a big problem, as landlords pretty can price you out immediately after the lease is up. They can raise rent overnight by as much as they want. http://www.lacity.org/lahd/ten_land.htm should have the info. I learned the hard way, so I like to inform people.
