I’ve been meaning to write about Sisu key chains ever since I saw them at Rodan vs Griffith sometime ago. My pics didn’t come out very crisp unfortunately, so it waylaid the whole process.
The pieces are more jewelry than key chains, made with culled together vintage finds from flea markets and new metalware. The charms are uniquely paired - guns and hearts, skulls and ice cream cones - which adds to the intrigue.
Coincidentally, I met the designer, Phuong-Cac Nguyen, while I was in Sao Paulo, who has re-located from LA to Brazil. She’s also a journalist and writes for Cool Hunting and Josh Spear and is overall a very cool, creative person. Check out her site to see other images from her collection, which also has a list of stores.
If you’re interested in buying a custom piece, you can email the designer at sisu@gimmesisu.com and she will make to order. The key fobs are not insanely priced, but would probably vary depending on the order.
