From Saturday March 8th - Sunday, March 30th, modern design/home/lifestyle boutique A+R is devoting its Silver Lake outpost to the first-ever New Garde Pop-Up Shop, showcasing 2008’s New Garde designers JMary, Jesse Kamm, and Les Sang Des Betes by Trang Chau. What this means is that shoppers can get these designer’s collections at the boutique, along with accessories and ready-to-wear from Gen Art Fresh Faces designers Brooks Salzwedel of Shane belts and jewelry, bag line Cerre, milliner Anita Hopkins and women’s wear designer Wren. Also on tap are offerings from LA designers, such as Joseph Brooks, Malin Smallcombe, and Carlo Carmelo.

A+R owner and fashion extraordinaire Rose Apodaca (shown above with A+R co-owner and husband Andy Griffith) will be teaming up with Uber to produce shorts of the Gen Art designers, which will be shown in an installation at A+R, as well as on Rose’s blog, uber.com/roseapodaca. All definitely worth checking out.
