Yogurtland is coming to La Brea, just south of 3rd Street, in the little strip mall with Subway and a dance studio. The treat spot bills itself as the “nation’s first and only self-serve frozen yogurt shop,” featuring “16 different flavors of non-fat frozen yogurt, 33 different types of fresh fruits and toppings at $.30 an ounce.” Sounds cheap and possibly tasty.

I tried Yogurtland in Fullerton and it was very good and much cheaper than Pinkberry!

I tried it in OC and it was ok, i didnt like the fact that everyone can touch the toppings , i rather have someone do it and have a proper glass seperating the customers from the toppings. The yogurt was like powdery…..not a fan. save your money and find a better place for froyo.

I’ve tried a lot of yogut places, but this has been by far the cheapest and best tasting. At .30 cents you can’t beat the price. I was hoping Yogurtland come near my hometown.

Please God, no more “Pinkberry” clones. Pinkberry is bad enough, I just don’t get it. The only froyo I eat is at Bigg Chill in Westwood, and I pass at least 3 PBs to get there. Please tell me this place has some “normal” 80’s style yogurt and some decent topping like hot fudge and nuts…

Yogurtland is definitely not a clone of Pinkberry. They are the first self-serving yogurt shop. Trust me, Yogurtland is better than Pinkberry. You have to try it for yourself. Besides, Pinkberry is a clone of Red Mango.

Yogurtland was not the “first self-serve yogurt shop”. I’ve been going to America’s Cup in Orange County since 20 years ago and they’ve always been self serve. Nothing bugs me more than corporate sloths spreading lies lies lies!!!

    Jerry is such a hater.

Jerry’s right. However, I’ve been in the business for over 25 years and America’s cup doen’t nor ever has held a candle to Yogurtlands concept. Then may not have been the first but they are the ones who are being copied now.

Yogurtland is so delicious! I’m so happy it’s close to where I live! It’s way better than ice cream. I love fresh fruit topping and mochi cakes! MMmmmm

I just came back from Yogurtland…. yummy, yummy… I tried like 4 different types of flavors, I got a medium size container with 2 different flavors and got like 5 different toppings, it was full… it was only $3.95, I didn’t have to pay extra for the green tee flavour!!!!

Pinkberry will have to reduce its prices if it wants to compete…!

Yogurtland is know for their quality and very economically priced. Hey, there’s one opening in Chino Hills, CA (71 Freeway and Chino Hills Pkwy).
