I know the term “death watch” has been used with Jian Korean BBQ on Sweetzer and Beverly, but people were hard at work tonight. I spoke briefly with a woman there who said May 1 was the slated opening day—still work being done and people being hired. It looks nice inside and expansive, and I’m still excited for this one to open.

I saw the door open on it the day before yesterday.
Thanks for the update because the paper sign still say opening very soon which hasn’t changed since late March.

I am curious and also pre-skeptical about this place.
Is it gonna be authentic or…faux-authentic like Red Pearl Kitchen on Melrose? Ve shall see!
