So, this is interesting. There’s an application to sell alcohol at 435 North Fairfax Avenue, in between Schwartz bakery and Supreme, so I go into Supreme and ask if they know what the deal is. One of the sales staff responded thusly, “Next door? I don’t know. I think it’s a caterer because they’re cooking all the time.” What kind of food? “All kinds, they bring it over here all the time, it all tastes good, too.” Hmmm.

Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook aka the “Food Dudes” have a catering company and are opening a restaurant at 435 N. Fairfax. Their show on the Food Network didn’t seem to take off, possibly because the Food Network is a bland, lifeless entity and these guys were a little too on the fringe.
