Just posted about this on Racked LA here. The owners of the building which houses Ethel and Flight 001, between Sweetzer and Harper, is going to be torn down, and a three level retail/office space with two level of underground parking is to be erected. Check the post for more.

Wow that’s a real scoop. Shoot why does it have to be two store fronts that are fine. Why can’t it be a depressing auto repair shop or the parking lot next to the jewish school or that dreadful 80’s building with the chain link fence around it.

Oh read the whole thing on Racked. Yeah it’s going mess with Toast. Darn bastards.
I went into Inno last night I think after I spoke to you. I had never noticed that place before. Inno himself is very nice. Much of it his designs all done in Italy and shipped back here. Now if only I had the mindset for dressing like a magazine model from Details instead of goofy 15 year old. I was in Italy last year and was able to find some fun casual clothes - but nothing high fashion like most italians want and like Inno sells.

Woops above post is unclear on my opinion of Toast. I am in favor of messing with the toast bastards. The food is great. But there are issues with how they operate and the impact that it has on the neighborhood.
Also the owner and his family are personally responsble for tearing down a large number of original 1920’s homes to build these new McMansions which I oppose.
