Amazing Deck: 8241 West 4th Street Duplex for Sale

So, this is the thing with this duplex at 8241 West 4th Street at Sweetzer: the bottom unit, a 3-bedroom, 2-bath, is a little funky; the top 2-bedroom, 2-bath is considerably nicer—more light and they didn’t fill in a wall to make an extra bedroom, which was a mistake in my opinion in the bottom unit. The real highlight of this place is out back where there’s this incredible deck above the garage (2 2-car garages, which is pretty great for each unit to have a 2-car garage). It’s f*cking awesome. Covered by slatted wood beams, so not too hot and slightly shaded by the sun. Oh, the grilling and hanging out that could be had! There’s also an amazing pool. The price? $1,989,000 for the entire duplex. Yes, lots of money, but, man that deck fantasies have stayed with me… Check it on the MLS for lots more pictures.

    The pool is salt water also which is nice. I also really like the location of this duplex. Easy walk to everything on 3rd. I would just be concerned that weekends you might get loud drunk people walking by at 2 AM. Not sure if much of that happens around 3rd or not because we are a few blocks further away and in the middle of the block. But I assume the corner homes get much more noice from pedestrians and cars.

    yeah, you get a few drunks walking by at 2 am. I live around the corner.
