that is the ugliest of the big boys yet! at least some of the other mcMansions attempt to appear spanish style to “blend” in with the neighborhood — that thing looks like an overstuffed suburban-Miami disaster.

I have a friend who started flipping houses in our neighborhood a few years ago. He has gone on to do new construction instead. Believe it or not, he actually bases what he builds on the surrounding properties and the style of the neighborhood. Except for the attached garages, I really like everything he has built.
This house is monstrous! It looks like it’s in Palmdale or Lancaster. Similar houses that have been built recently have just been sitting; nobody wants them, especially at inflated prices.

MikeLA this is ugly. But you would be surprised at some of the new homes that are being built. Lately I have seem ones with some sort of modern take on a southwest design. Including strange walls that look like sails with no aparent purpose.
