Blackburn + Sweetzer Has Moved

I’ve been meaning to post this image of the building now completely down at West 3rd Street and La Jolla. There have been some interesting comments, including one from the company that owns the lot:

Our company owns the lot on this corner. We are drawing up some conceptual plans at the moment and we’re not sure what it will end up being. Until then we will be paving the lot and leasing it out to a parking company. Toying with the idea of flea market, pumpkin patch, christmas tree lot…

Also, a couple people have mentioned an intriguing old advertisement on the building next to it:

Now that the building is completely down, the interesting thing to me is the ancient advertisement that’s been reveled on the west side of the building next to it. I tried to get a look and/or photo of it the other day but there was too much going on.
