Orchid Wrangler Exits West 3rd Street, Relocates

The Orchid Wrangler at 8365 West 3rd Street has closed up shop recently. Helmed by David Stanley, the flower business is continuing orders online or via phone. Happened to run into Kai from Kingsbury, who said the shop had been there since he moved onto the street in 2001.

To be honest, I’d never gone into the shop, but the arrangements online—ranging from $95-$225—do look very pretty. You can see getting rid of a brick and mortar, and its accompanying rent, if you can during these economic times.

Other developments on that stretch just east or Orlando include Who’s on Third? cafe for lease and Linda’s Gourmet Latkes on the way. The former Orchid Wrangler interior below.

The headlines “No More Orchid Wrangler” and “closed” are rather misleading, and could potentially harm our business. We have simply relocated to a workspace not open to the public, but still offer the same services we have for the last eight years. If you could resubmit this story to read more accurately, we would greatly appreciate it.

    My best,
    David Stanley, owner
    The Orchid Wrangler

Great website btw, glad to have found it!
