I believe this is the 2nd or 3rd time in the past two weeks that Wilshire has been closed from San Vicente to Crescent Heights with a TON of cop cars and fire engines at hand. When I got home around 5 PM the traffic was horrible around there lots of police and people parking in our neighborhood and walking down to Wilshire with the Palestinian scarfs (big red and white with tassels) and what not. Actually I think the 5 PM choppers were more likely for the protests at the Israeli Embassy at the corner of Wilshire and Crescent Heights.
