Back in November, Satine owner Jeannie Lee gave an ETA of February or March for the opening of the new, more expansive Satine boutique, moving from the north to the south side of West 3rd Street next to the old Doughboys. I’ve walked by to hear work in progress here and there, but have not noted any visible progress behind the cloak of plywood and tarp. Now, you can see that the storefront window looks finished through an exposed wedge way at the tippy-top.
And in other Satine news, Fashion Rules! hears that the clothing line Katie Holmes has been working on with Hollywood stylist Jeanne Yang, set to debut in spring, was picked up by the boutique. Also, remember the Kimberly Ovitz trunk show today!
