This is bummer news. Flight 001, where I’ve picked up two pieces of luggage, plus computer sleeves and other gifty items, has closed at 8235 West 3rd Street, as the building will be torn down at the end of the month. Unable to find another spot on the street at this juncture, staff says Flight 001 will be opening up again in LA in the fall or holidays, but is not sure where: “We’re directing our LA customers online. We have a warehouse in Ontario, so people will likely receive orders next day.”

Too bad to see it go. But I guess the good news is that the economy is still moving along and that someone has the money or the funding to build a new building.
I am hoping the building is a good enjoyable one. I hate the strip malls and the other larger buildings.

Perhaps they can build a Medical Marijuana Superstore! Pot-Mart!
We could use some more Goodwill and 99-cents stores in the area, too.
