Looks like we’re another step closer to witnessing the teardown of the block of shops on West 3rd Street between Sweetzer and Harper Avenues, north side of the street. A temporary walkway has been erected out front, and the teardown was slated for the end of June, so imagine it will be coming down soon…

I forget is there a rendering of what is to come? Will there be retail or restaurants on the ground floor? If this is strictly offices then I will be disappointed.

My understanding is that since then it changed. It’s now suppose to be 2 stories with parking on the roof. I am wondering if it will be similar to what was built on La Brea which turned out very nicely.

The roof has been mostly torn off so the demo has definitely begun
