Eater LA reports that Terroni at 7605 Beverly Boulevard is expanding to an adjacent space just north on Curson:
“A staffer dished that the annex may be used as a private party room (maybe a la Mozza 2 Go?), but no conclusive info just yet except for wine racks which were seen brought in to the area under contruction.”
Eater LA also refers to some “so-so” Terroni reviews, but I have to say, that place is always packed. And it’s a fun place to eat, particularly that large booth in front if you have a larger party.

They will have to find parking for the new square footage; I don’t know how this will happen. The neighborhood just came out to the Mid City West Community Council Land Use Committee meeting to oppose a new restaurant a few blocks west of this because of the parking issue.

Is this why Suzpree is not moving into the spot at Ogden?

Suzpree dropped out of their own accord, and now the building owner has moved forward to convert the use from retail to restaurant. He has put illegal signage all over the building, and has apparently staged a few private events in the space that the neighbors were not happy with.
The community council told the owner’s representative that we don’t like to vote on changes in use when we don’t know who is going into the space. We were generally excited when Suzpree was going to go in, and there was parking lined up, but now we don’t know exactly what the owner plans.
Given the fact that there are already a lot of restaurants vying for limited parking along Beverly, I don’t see the Beverly/Ogden site panning out. Maybe Beverly is getting to the same place Third Street is, and they need a comprehensive parking plan.
