Seven-thirty in the AM over here in LA, which means NYC has been buzzing online for hours about the news that design darlings Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the LA-bred sister duo behind gorgeous label Rodarte, will create a Go International collection for Target.
The news of the 55-piece line comes from WWD, which notes, “While it may be hard to imagine translating Rodarte’s hand-wrought designs for the mass market, Target claims to have stayed true to the spirit of the luxury-priced label,” with details such as sequins, bows, faux fur, and layering for a “very feminine, yet very modern” line.
You’ll find the collection in-store and online from December 20 to February 6 January 31 (via Target PR) , with prices ranging from “$9.99 for knee-highs to $79.99 for a leopard print jacket,” as well as “a variety of great holiday dresses.”
Cannot wait to see what they do, people. This is truly an exciting development.
