More Beverly Center news. Clubby steakhouse chain The Capital Grille is taking the space of the former Hard Rock Cafe at the northwest corner of the Beverly Center. It looks like it may or may not also be taking the former Todai space right next door. We shall see. Via The Capital Grille locations map—which shows a heavy East Coast presence—this is the first California restaurant.

Good luck at this location. Across from Cedars, backside of Beverly. Kind of a dead zone between Robertson and La Cienega. I’ve eaten at Capital Grilles in Dallas and Washington D.C. excellent steaks, expensive and catering more towards business diners than tourists. Perhaps all part of the Beverly Center makeover as THE luxury retail mall in L.A.
