From Dig Lounge!
Just yesterday, Daily Dish posted an item, indicating Nancy Silverton (La Brea Bakery, Campanile, Mozza)* and Amy Pressman (Pasadena’s Old Town Bakery former owner) are working together to open Grass Burger at the Farmers Market. The duo were guest chefs at Canele last night to test out some offerings, and Matt of Dig Lounge was at the ready:
“The burgers were nothing short of amazing. Perfectly charred patties of Sonoma grass-fed beef burgers topped with either, bacon, fried egg and frisee or cheddar and pickled green tomatoes.”
Pressman told the Daily Dish that she’s pretty sure the deal is going to go through. I have to believe it. I mean, really, who would be so cruel as to not allow us all access to this burger as soon as possible?
*NOTE: There is definite confusion about whether or not or in what way Nancy Silverton is involved in this whole thing, which, as far as I can tell was first reported at Daily Dish.
