I have enjoyed eating at D'Amore's and appreciate having them in the neighborhood. BTW, I noticed that the Town Tire has a "Leased" sign up, does anyone know what is coming there?

Look when the people who live "next door to it" choose to live or purchase a home that close to 3rd street they must have known that they were living near businesses.

Our neighborhood is not meant to be only for the people who live here. We don't want a wall around it. One of the things that make this such a wonderful/desirable place are the variety of businesses.

Now that said there are some serious problems with Berri's Pizza and Toast and the way they are run and the small ways they interfere with sidewalks and the valets (for all of the businesses) but the answer to those problems is not to ban or discourage new business.

I am glad we have another thriving business instead of an empty store front!

And for the record I own a home in this neighborhood. I have been here for over 10 years. Only I was wise enough to purchase a few blocks away from 3rd street knowing that I wanted to walk to a late night pizza joint but not live next door to it.

Easy to say, because you don't live next to it.

I know other people who feel the way Steve does.

And the Topanga comment was unnecessary.

Actually, this does service the residents of the neighborhood. The wife and I have had many conversations about the need for another affordable, casual dining option that stays open late. I'm sure we're not the only people in the area who feel the same way.

3rd street is a desirable area to live BECAUSE of the variety of shops and eateries within walking distance. If you want total peace and tranquility, move to Topanga.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! 3rd St. should not have to endure another "open until 4am" establishment. This does NOT service the residents of the neighborhood but instead caters to drunk partiers who in turn speed, screech tires, urinate, dump trash, etc. in our neighborhood. We already suffer sleepless Fri & Sat nights because of Barri's.
